Day Pass at Meliá Puerto Vallarta

Lamentablemente no miden el aforo con respecto a su mobiliario, no encontré camastrones disponibles ni en el área de playa ni en alberca, todos estaban ocupados y es algo indispensable para poder pasarla bien, tuve que estar sentado en un área de restaurante que estaba inhabilitado y para estar en la playa en una silla plástica bajo el sol, las palapas estaban llenas o reservadas.

Al parecer no les gusta a los de la recepción que lleguen personas a tomar el Day Pass. En recepción nos atendió Miguel Dueñas y nos ponía puros pedos y tuvimos que aguantar su carota de asco como si no tuviéramos para pagar. De ahí en fuera los demás nos atendieron muy bien.

We purchased a day pass to spend a relaxing day at Melia, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The check-in staff seemed visibly put off by our arrival, which set an uncomfortable tone from the start. While the upstairs bar was enjoyable with friendly service and a fantastic espresso martini, the pool bar cocktails were almost non-alcoholic. The pool area itself was lively with lots of families and children, so not ideal if you’re hoping for a quiet atmosphere. On the bright side, we did enjoy watching the lizards and birds around the pool. The food was unremarkable, and the wine served with dinner tasted closer to vinegar than anything drinkable. To top it off, one person in our group likely picked up a fungal ear infection from the spa, which required a concerning visit to urgent care. The resort did feel safe overall, but between the disappointing service, poor food and drinks, and health concerns, we can’t recommend this experience and wouldn’t return.
